We are able to advise Clients of their legal obligations under the asbestos management legislation. We strongly believe that the ethos behind a good asset management plan, is obtaining strong advice from the outset. Our consultancy services enable our Clients to feel safe and secure when making decisions about potentially dangerous environments. However, it is not always necessary to remove the asbestos - where appropriate, we can offer cost effective solutions, by encapsulation; significantly saving costs against traditional removal and strip-outs. Obtaining the right advice can be invaluable.

Sampling

We undertake sampling and use independent UKAS accredited laboratories to test the samples. We give advise to Clients on the sample results and action to be taken to deal with any Asbestos Present. Where possible minimising cost to Clients and providing a value for money solution.

Abatement

All asbestos abatement works are undertaken in accordance with CAR 2006 (the Control of Asbestos Regulations). AAAIS are an approved asbestos removal contractor - holding a full 3-year unendorsed licence.

Many asbestos related works are non-notifiable - however, this does not negate an employers obligations under the CAR 2006 Regulations, to ensure that ACMs are removed or managed with due diligence. This is best achieved through the services of a fully approved asbestos removal licence holder.

Notifiable works, require an approved asbestos licence holder to submit a Plan of Work and ASB5 notification to either the HSE or Local Authority a full 14-days prior to any works commencing on site. This process requires the utmost planning through a competent body to ensure full compliance under the regulations.
